Updates

Last weekend went to friend's birthday party. Most of us are in the army and the only time to meet-up is during weekend and not all weekends we meet up. So yeah, this party is like another gathering. I also got my birthday gift from them. Thanks guys.

Quite a number of them going to ORD in a year time. I got like 14 months to go. Not that bad though because time flies during this period. Before I knew it, nearly a year has passed.

I watched two movies last few weeks. 'Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen' and 'Ice Age 3: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs'. Both of them are good. Definitely worth watching. I watched the Ice Age 3 in 3D which is really cool. The characters are cute especially the three baby dinos. ^^

I started playing this mmorpg weeks ago. Its called Dragonica. It's a 3D side-scrolling game. Anyway, I am playing on Kaye server and I am currently lv40 Harlequin. If any of you is playing this game, please leave a note. Haha.

Also I feel so bad about an incident that I think I should blog about. I supposed to meet my friend after work to have dinner. The thing is that after work I totally forgot about it and I went straight home.

I only realized it after I got home seeing that my mum didn't cook my share for dinner. That's because my mum usually cooks my share for dinner unless I tell her that I will be having dinner outside which I did but I forgot. I rushed down after that and ended up 1hr+ late.

As usual, she is always very understanding. That's why she is one of my best friend. =D

Although, I have apologized to her But I still feel very bad. Maybe this post will keep it as a reminder for me.

Thinking back, I am always late for every meeting. Be it official or unofficial. I think that is just one of my bad habit. Maybe it's time to fix it. However, I guess I overdo it this time round. Although unintentional but for once I really feel ashamed for my action.

Eeeeeek!!

Woke up around 10 today to finish some work. I think its also the rain that woke me up this morning. Have late lunch with my friend, shop around and went to her house after that to help her fix her com. MSN Messenger virus is everywhere. I have been receiving a decent amount of MSN Messenger virus messages from a number of people recently.

Note: If you receive a message from a friend and it is only an URL link, high chance it is the Messenger virus. Do not go to that link and tell your friend that his/her computer is infected with virus. Most of the time, the victim wouldn't know that his/her computer is infected until someone tell them.

She was browsing YouTube with her lappy as I was helping her fixing her computer when she came across something which she thought was interesting.

Apparently it's videos of people watching something called the 2girl1finger and they film down their reaction watching it. The video of them reacting to the video is simply hilarious with people 'almost puking' to jumping up and down and using their hand to cover their vision while peeping through their fingers.

How did you even came across those reaction video on YouTube ? *Puzzle*

Undeniable, what came across our mind for 2girl1finger is probably something close to pornography but what's so special about it that gave those people such a reaction. We got curious and went to the website to see the video. I wouldn't say much about the content of the video. What I can say is after watching few seconds of the video, we already in our gonna-puke state and we really couldn't watch further more. Its just like us replicating the reaction of those people on YouTube. Seriously, I can't really imagine how people watch the whole video without even puking. Nothing gore but just disturbing; very disturbing.

Oh well. At least it's not me alone who suffers the scarring of the moment. Personally, I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE ON EARTH TO WATCH THIS VIDEO. However, if you are really curious and for the fun of it, please find some daring friends to watch together. It is also fun to see each another reaction while watching the video.

I guess that's all for this post. Thinking of it already give me goosebumps.

Stunning discovery

I came across this video when I was surfing YouTube. I wouldn't say much about what stunning discovery I have came across. Watch the video below and you will know. There is no lip-sync involved.

Updates

I have set myself a goal. During these two years in army, I am always trying to improve on my design sense and to adapt to the current trend of design. As I have written on my previous post, I have set up my website where I will post my personal works. Those works are basically designs that I came out during my free time. Most of the design that I do lasted only few hours. The reason that I am doing this is because I am training myself to come out with a concept in the shortest period of time. Of course, a design can never be perfect; because given time, it can always be made better. Most of the time, I will do up a logo design follow by a web interface that fits the theme of the logo. This will usually take around 2 days to accomplish both tasks.
I aim to accomplish 300 pieces of work inclusive of logo and web design. The final goal will be putting all of them together into a montage and printed out. The deadline I set for myself will be Jan 2011.

Why Jan 2011?
I have calculated the amount of time needed to accomplish the task together with breaks in between. I will not be rushing this out so estimation of 1.5 years will be sufficient for me to accomplish this.

I wouldn’t be doing this as my only target. I will be starting to create an online portfolio when I have sufficient amount of work. Hence in my timeline, I will be starting work on my portfolio at around November this year. Actually I already have some concept on what kind of portfolio I am going for but the idea is still quite rough so I am going to keep it as a secret for now. On the Nov 2009 will mainly be the actual production of it. So from now till then, it will be the conceptualization phase and also gathering of resources needed. Estimation time for the completion will be around Feb 2010. By then, I will more or less have half of my goals for the montage done up. Hence, I can choose several of the higher quality work to be put up on my portfolio.

Isn't your current website your portfolio?
That isn't my portfolio site. It is just a website to post my personal works and for people to comment and critique. I wish to improve on the things I do in a daily basis. Of course if you have question about designing, you can feel free to ask me here or use the contact feature on my website.

What else am I going to do during this period?
I also will be picking up basic drawing skill during the process as it does pretty much come in handy when I am designing.

Watched Angels and Demons yesterday. I would say its quite a good show. The story build up in the movie is actually quite well done. Overall I would give it 9/10.

I will be posting works that I have done during my leisure time for people to comment and critique. Main goal for setting up that website is to complete 300 pieces of work so that I can do up a montage that could be printed. There are updates on the homepage stating how many pieces are already posted up. I believed this could be accomplished around Jan 2011. Receiving comments and critique is another reason so that I could improve on the things I do. Hence, please do visit my website, comment and critique.
